Eligibility Criteria:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed:
    • Postgraduate courses in Economics, Law, International Business, Public Policy, or Political Science
    • Undergraduate or integrated courses in Engineering, Commerce, Data Science, or Management (minimum 2nd year completed)
    • Professional degrees like CA, CS, or ICWA with a focus on trade or finance
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • A genuine interest in trade, global economics, or policy studies

Previous internship or project work related to trade is a plus but not mandatory.


Internship Duration & Location

  • Duration: Minimum of 1 month, with the option to extend up to 3 months
  • Timeline: Internships will begin on a rolling basis starting May 2025
  • Location: Primarily at DGFT Headquarters in New Delhi
    Limited opportunities may also be available at select regional offices

Note: While this is an unpaid internship, the exposure and experience are immensely valuable, particularly for those planning a career in public policy, international business, or economic research.
